Dia de Los Muertos en Mexico!!🇲🇽💀🕯️ Dia de Los Muertos en Mexico!!🇲🇽💀🕯️ When I was in Spanish class in school we would learn about this holiday every year around Halloween and it became a bucket list item to experience it in Mexico. This holiday is really a beautiful way to cope with death by honoring loved ones who have passed through song, dance, gathering, and extravagant decoration. It’s colorful, it’s joyful, it’s a celebration with mariachis and marigolds and food. I just always thought it was so beautiful to see death this way and I’ll keep this tradition in my heart when I have to cope with the loss of loved ones❤️🧡💚💛🩵🩵💜🖤 #diadelosmuertos #diadelosmuertosinmexico #mexicotravel
SAID NO ONE EVER! I’ve seen a couple creators m SAID NO ONE EVER! I’ve seen a couple creators make videos like this & really wanted to jump on My whole life I’ve struggled with perfectionism. Expecting myself to be the best at everything, look effortlessly beautiful at any moment, be as small as possible, be the person everybody liked. I’ve looked at my friends and wished they knew I don’t care if their outfit matches or if they’re good at pickleball or how many pounds they hold. I’ve preached to others that they’re amazing and beautiful and loveable just as they are, because I truly do believe it. But when it comes to myself, it’s not the same. Im trying to break away from holding myself to the opposite full of impossible standards and expectations. But its hard. Sometimes we need to remember that the people who love us don’t stick around because we’re good at surfing, we have a perfectly toned body, and our hair always lays just right. They love because of your energy, your light, your humor, your heart. They want to be there for you and you aren’t a burden or embarassment just because you don’t live a picture perfect life. No one expected you to be perfect except for you. & lose ‘em if they did. 💋
