Three years ago I saw a girl on tiktok who lived in Hvar for a month. The water was such a pretty hue of blue. Like the light and dark blue gatorades mixed together. She dove in off of the rocks and I wanted to be her so bad. I immediately added Croatia to my list. It’s times like this I’m grateful for social media. It’s got its downsides but look at the places it led me! Places I never knew existed!

And now here I am, three years later, looking down from the top of that island and maybe, hopefully, one of you will see it and immediately add it to your list too🤞🏼

10/10 recommend, so beautiful!! But it’s superrrrr windy so a dress wasn’t my best choice for the activity😅 you can walk up and stand in an area right in front of the fortress if you don’t want to pay the €10 to get in, but I think it was worth it to go in 🙂

Easy day trip from Split, Croatia

There are two incredible waterfall spots you can visit while in Split
1. Plitvice (approx~3 hr drive)
2. Krka ( approx ~1.5 hr drive)

While both are gorgeous and worth visiting, if you’re running on limited time, you really can just pick one. Because it was closer, we opted for Krka

There are plenty of orgnaized tour you can take and book once you get to Croatia, but it’s just as easy to do it on your own! We caught a bus which dropped us off near the ticket building. Then we bought an entrance ticket for the park and a ferry took us to the waterfall viewing area. There’s a boardwalk that will take you all around and get different views. You can grab a bite, drink, or gelato before hopping on the ferry back.
